Step 1. Remove the C cover.

Step 2. Do not use any protection films on the screen as removal of them may damage the touch screen.

Step 3. Push down on the battery cover release button (1) and remove the cover (2). Now remove the battery.

Step 4. Remove the stylus.

Step 5. Two of the screws are hidden by screw covers.

Step 6. Remove the screw covers using a tooth pick.

Step 7. Remove the five Torx T6 screws and store them safely.

Step 8. Use a clean lint free cloth when opening the A and B covers.

Step 9. Remove the A cover by twisting it as shown below.

Step 10. Remove the two key mats.

Step 11. Carefully release the battery holder clips.

Step 12. Now remove the frame assembly, main circuit board and the display module from the B cover carefully.

Step 13. Unplug the display connector carefully using your plastic shim.

Step 14. Release the display flex using a small flat bladed screwdriver.

Step 15. Unplug the key mat flex connector carefully.

Step 16. The main circuit board is held into the frame by three clips which are easily released.

Step 17. Now remove the main circuit board taking care not to damage the key mat flex.

Step 18. Use a toothpick or dental tool to remove the microphone.

Step 19. Remove the power jack using an unplugged charger.

Step 20. Unlock the first clip using your shim. Push the aerial assembly with a flat bladed screwdriver and lift it with your shim.

Step 21. Unclip the opposite side of the aerial assembly.

Step 22. Now use tweezers to remove the aerial.

Step 23. Release the MMC card cover.

Step 24. Turn the MMC cover through 180 degrees and remove it.

Step 25. And that should be your phone disassembled. Reassembly is a simple reversal of the above steps taking care to fully test the handset to ensure that you have not caused any damage or missed any steps.
